Update: The only budget-related bill addressed by the House Tuesday was Senate Bill 1071 (Browne-R-Lehigh) state and school employee pension reform bill agreed-to by Senate Republicans and Gov. Wolf. The House State Government Committee amended the bill to add back $170 million in state contributions to state and school district pension funds the Senate eliminated and removes distinctions between state employees and lawmakers allowing them to opt into the new hybrid system. The bill was reported to the full House and Tabled, per normal procedure.
