Budget Update: The House adjourned Thursday evening without taking a planned vote on the pension reform proposal in Senate Bill 1071. The House started debate on the bill, but House Majority Leader David Reed (R-Indiana) stopped the session after Rep. Gene DiGirolamo (R-Bucks) made a motion to refer the bill to committee for further study. A House spokesperson said the debate will resume Friday at 10:00 a.m. after reports from the Public Employee Retirement Commission are available on the fiscal impact of the bill.
