A 17-member group of House Republicans led by Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams) will unveil a plan September 5 to fund the state budget without the need for raising taxes.
The plan is an alternative to the Senate-passed revenue package supported by Senate Republicans and Democrats, House Democrats and Gov. Wolf.
It does not represent the position of the entire House Republican Caucus, yet.
The plan will be announced in the Capitol Media Center, 8 East Wing Capitol Building starting at 1:00. The press conference will also be available through the House Republican Caucus website.
