The Court of Judicial Discipline Thursday concluded now former PA Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin “failed to promote public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary,” and ordered Eakin to pay a $50,000 penalty.
The Court also concluded none of Eakin’s actions were criminal in nature and did not prejudice the “proper administration of justice.”
