A new poll released by Sen. Scott Wagner's campaign Monday found Wagner leading two other potential challengers for the Republican nomination for Governor-- Wagner 38 percent, House Speaker Mike Turzai 10 percent and Pittsburgh business man Paul Mango 8 percent.
The poll summary says, "Wager performs similar to how Attorney General Tom Corbett was performing at this point in the 2010 gubernatorial primary cycle," citing a Qunnipiac University poll.
With respect to results in the other candidates' home county of Allegheny, the poll found Wagner (31 percent) has a lead over both Turzai (19 percent) and Mango (15 percent). In the Philadelphia market, Wagner is leading by a four to one margin.
The Associated Press is reporting Paul Mango will tell Republicans he'll announce in May he's running for the GOP nomination for Governor.
