Slot Machine Revenue Down 2.4 Percent In January Over 2016

The PA Gaming Control Board Friday reported gross revenue from slot machines at the state’s 12 casinos was $180,304,670, a 2.4 percent decrease in revenue when compared to the $184,811,874 generated in January 2016.
Tax revenue in January of this year was $95,847,419.
The average number of slot machines operating on a daily basis was 26,254 during January 2017 compared to 26,229 at the casinos in January 2016.
