IFO: Cost Of State Employee Unions’ 3-Year Contract Is $525.1 Million

The Independent Fiscal Office Tuesday said the 3-year cost of the state employee union contract agreements with AFSCME and SEIU and the Wolf Administration will cost $525.1 million.
The AFSCME contract cost is $98.1 million more than the Administration’s estimate of $292.2 million in August.  The SEIU contract cost is $134.9 million over 3 years.
