The Gaming Control Board announced Monday revenue from the play of table games at Pennsylvania casinos during April of 2014 was up 1 percent over revenue generated last year.
April's gross table games revenue generated by 12 casinos was $62,184,790 or $632,456 higher than in April 2013 when revenue totaled $61,552,334.
April slots revenue dropped 3.6 percent from a year ago.
With an average of 1,106 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis, tax revenue produced this April was $8,944,373.
Coupled with figures on slot machine revenue released earlier this month, overall gross revenue from both slots and tables was $259,945,767 this April, just below the $266,707,740 generated in April of last year.
