Penn State University Trustees tonight removed Graham Spanier as President of the University and relieved legendary football coach Joe Paterno of his coaching responsibilities effectively immediately. Paterno earlier today said he would retire at the end of the football season.
The Trustees have also formed a special committee to investigate the sex scandal allegations. More details on the Committee will be made available Friday.
