Election Results So Far Show State Judges Will Be Retained

With 50.5 percent of votes counted, all six Commonwealth, Supreme and Superior Court justices up for a yes or no retention vote are breezing to another term on the bench.  The results for the two competitive races for a Commonwealth Court and Superor Court seats are still up for grabs.  Click Here for the latest election results for statewide offices.
            Several state House members are running for a variety of local offices: Josh Shapiro (D) is running for Montgomery County Commissioner, former House Speaker Denny O'Brien (R) is seeking a seat on Philadelphia's City Council; Rep. Chelsa Wagner (D) is running for Allegheny County Controller; and Rep. Doug Reichley (R) is running for judge of the Court of Common Pleas.
            Democrat Rich Fitzgerald is leading Republican D. Raja 65 percent to 35 percent in the race for Allegheny County Executive.
            Incumbent Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter defeated his Republican challenger Karen Brown by a 3-to-1 margin.
