The Gaming Control Board Wednesday reported slot machine revenue generated at casinos during May of this year showed a small increase when compared to May 2014.
The report indicates the casinos generated slot machine revenue of $211,219,909 in May or 0.18 percent more than the previous year when revenue was $210,830,677.
Revenue generation resulted in a return of $112,763,746 in taxes to Pennsylvania citizens during May, an average of $3.6 million of taxes generated per day.
The average number of slot machines in operation on a daily basis was lower during May 2015 with 26,382 compared to 26,417 during May 2014.
