Gov.-elect Tom Wolf Tuesday said he will not accept state taxpayer funding for the Transition. Wolf will instead privately fund the Transition process and disclose funding sources.
All donations will be publicly disclosed on the Transition website, and donations will be capped at $50,000. There will be two disclosure dates: January 15 and March 30, 2015.
"I do not want taxpayers to shoulder the cost of the Transition, and I believe transparency and openness are important in order to restore the public's trust in their government," said Gov.-elect Tom Wolf.
