Gross revenue from gambling at table games in Pennsylvania casinos during August was nearly 5 percent higher than last year, according to figures released Tuesday by the Gaming Control Board.
The report shows that August gross table games revenue was $69,551,148, an amount 4.7 percent higher than the previous August and the second highest amount in a single month only behind the $69,770,440 in revenue during March 2015.
Total tax revenue from table games play during August was $10,021,627 with an average of 1,135 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.
