Fiscal year-to-date General Fund collections total $6.1 billion, which is $10.7 million, or 0.2 percent, above estimate.
Sales tax receipts totaled $712.8 million for September, $34.5 million below estimate. Year-to-date sales tax collections total $2.2 billion, which is $70.2 million, or 3 percent, less than anticipated.
Personal income tax revenue in September was $947.9 million, $10.8 million above estimate. This brings year-to-date PIT collections to $2.4 billion, which is $24.5 million, or 1 percent, above estimate.
September corporation tax revenue of $536.2 million was $77.1 million, above estimate. Year-to-date corporation tax collections total $705.2 million, which is $86.4 million, or 14 percent, above estimate.
Inheritance tax revenue for the month was $55.3 million, $8 million below estimate, bringing the year-to-date total to $189.8 million, which is $18 million, or 8.7 percent, below estimate.
Realty transfer tax revenue was $23.5 million for September, $4.3 million below estimate, bringing the fiscal-year total to $88.6 million, which is $2.1 million, or 2.4 percent, less than anticipated.
Other General Fund tax revenue, including cigarette, malt beverage, liquor and table games taxes, totaled $126.9 million for the month, $8.2 million below estimate and bringing the year-to-date total to $363 million, which is $13.8 million, or 3.8 percent, below estimate.
Non-tax revenue totaled $26.7 million for the month, $11 million above estimate, bringing the year-to-date total to $82 million, which is $4.1 million, or 5.2 percent, above estimate.
In addition to the General Fund collections, the Motor License Fund received $187.5 million for the month, $7.3 million below estimate. Fiscal year-to-date collections for the fund – which include the commonly known gas and diesel taxes, as well as other license, fine and fee revenues – total $610.3 million, which is $3.3 million, or 0.5 percent, above estimate.
