Pennsylvania Republicans have given former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum a 36 – 22 percent lead over former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the new Quinnipiac Poll. U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, was at 12 percent, while former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., was at 8 percent.
Versus Obama, the poll showed Santorum with 44 percent, Obama at 45 percent, a virtual tie. Obama led Romney 46-40, Paul, 45-40 and Gingrich, 50-37.
