53 Percent Of Pennsylvanians Think State Heading In Wrong Direction

A new poll by Franklin & Marshall released today found 53 percent of Pennsylvania adults believe the state is heading in the wrong direction. Some other key findings:
-- 47 percent cite unemployment and the economy as biggest problems;
-- 56 percent favor selling state-owned liquor stores;
-- 65 percent favor natural gas drilling tax, 72 percent believe proceeds should be share by both the state and local communities where drilling takes place.
-- 34 percent approve of President Obama, down 1 percent from March
-- 32 percent approve of Gov. Corbett's performance, up 1 percent from March
-- 32 percent approve of Sen. Casey's performance, up 3 percent from March
-- 29 percent approve of Sen. Toomey's performanc, up 1 percent from March
