House Democrats Concede Simmons-Deely Race, One House Seat Remains Undecided

House Democrats this morning conceded defeat in the race between incumbent Rep. Justin Simmons (R-Lehigh) and his Democratic challenger Kevin Deely.  While the state website has 132 votes separating the candidates, House Republican Campaign Committee Chair Rep. David Reed said the final margin will be higher than that even with absentees counted.
As a result, Republicans now have a 110 to 93 edge in the House with one race, which pits Rep. Rick Saccone (R) and former Rep. David Levdansky (D) against each other in Washington County.  In this race the state website has Saccone leading by 36 votes.
