New F&M Poll On Wolf, Casey, Trump, Issues

A new Franklin & Marshall Poll released Thursday found--
-- Tom Wolf approval rating: 6% Excellent, 37% Good, 33% Fair, 16% Poor (Similar To Rendell’s, Better Than Corbett’s at this point, Ridge was in mid-60s approval)
-- Tom Wolf 38% vs. Wagner 21%, Wolf 49% vs. Mango 22%, Wolf 51% vs. Ellsworth 22%
-- Bob Casey approval rating: 7% Excellent, 30% Good, 32% Fair, 11% Poor
-- Bob Casey 43% vs. Lou Barletta 25%
-- Voters Very Interested In Mid-Term Elections: Democrats 60%, Republicans 41%, Independents 26%
-- President Trump approval rating: 13% Excellent, 17% Good, 16% Fair, 54% Poor (Below Obama’s rating at a similar point in his Presidency)
-- Is PA Headed In Right Direction: 46% Right Direction, 40% Wrong (First Time Right Direction Ahead Of Wrong Since 2009)
-- Biggest Issues In Order: Unemployment/Economy (17%), Government Politicians (16%), Taxes (15%), Crime (10%), Education (9%)
-- Ban On Assault-Style Weapons: 61% Strongly Support, 7% Somewhat, 18% Strongly Oppose 9% Somewhat Oppose
-- Enhanced Gun Background Checks: 86% Strongly Support, 8% Somewhat, 4% Strongly Oppose, 1% Somewhat Oppose
-- Raising Minimum Age To Purchase Firearm: 69% Strongly Support, 13% Somewhat Support, 15% Strongly Oppose, 10% Somewhat Oppose
